My second gay joke (OR IS IT THE THIRD?!), that’s perhaps a little more subtle than the first (OR EVEN THE SECOND). Mainly used this as an excuse to fiddle with the Half-Life 2 face poser, rather than the fairly simplistic (albeit still gorgeous) one TF2 models have.
As things stand right now, Half-Life 2 models have a wider range of facial expressions that can be nabbed from the default models. Slight frowns, cocked eyebrows and all that sort of thing. The default TF2 models, however, mostly have options dealing with “one slider changes all” stuff. So you can’t raise one eyebrow, you raise them BOTH, you can’t open a corner of the mouth, you open it all up. Things like that.
HOWEVER.
Chris Livingston (he of Concerned, again) made a fantastic discovery. Hopefully the expressions for my posed ragdolls will be more intricate in the future.
